   i ran the program it was in game-memstick and it went through the PSP bump bum ba thing and then just went black and has been black for like 5 min anyone know whats going on or if i messed up or something

   If you will like to donate to PSPGen, I will suggest you visit paypal and send them some money to what ever amount to CFW-GEN@pspgen.com which is suppose to be there paypal address according here or they download page or PSP Custom Firmware 5.50 Gen-D3, right on top of the download button you will see the Word Paypal, Just Click on it and follow the guide .

   but the cxmb doesn’t play ctf themes anymore hmmm…

   I was able to use the update and was able to successfully load up AVATAR The Game. But my PSP shutdown while loading the 1st mission. I tried it again but the same thing happened. Thoughts? Patches? Fixes??

    I have a PSP 2003 running GEN B.
    Do I need to use my pandora battery to run the update to B2 then D3?

    I was able to convert it from ISO to CSO. But unfortunately, my PSP keeps shutting down whenever i try to start the 1st mission. It shutdowns during the loading process.

    have you try to change the kernel setting on your PSP Advance System ?

    Also have you try to change the CPU speed as well ,

    I have not try this, But will help to try one by one just to make sure.

    I update my PSP1000 to 5.50 GEn D3 but when i checked my system software is says 5.50 GEN-D (Full). i used to have Gen D2. Is there any idea why it says (Full).

    Yeah i had the same problem. Only other thing i can think of is disabling your plugins in yr recovery menu. if u have any. Oh. u can tyr rebuilding yr ISO with UMD GEN. not sure, but worth a try. hope this helps.

    Thanks for the team on the CFW update, I have the same problem on Jak and Daxter, it freezes on the first mission then shutdowns.

    It will work if you change your UMD ISO mode to Sony NP9660. I have it working on my slim with 5.50 gen D3.

    my bro keeps bugging me on updating his psp bcaus he can’t play the new games like tekken 6, Grant turismo etc.
    this psp uses a homebrew 3.71 kernel.
    Firmware – donno
    model tag 03-xxxxx-xxxx-PSP2004

    i want to know whether i can install this CFW “D3″ ? hoe safe is it how can i do it?

    I have many problems with this CFW gend3, i not recomended, any games shutoff my psp to start game, displayme data loss in saved games, avatar only work on hard dificult, and more problems.

    Yes i have a heard of a few uers having issue with PSP CFW 5.50 Gen-D3 , is best to head over to the developer site where they will be able to help you out with your issue.

    those are just update, for example, psp cfw 5.50 gen-a will be install first, then psp cfw 5.50gen-b , then psp cfw 5.50genc, psp cfw gen-d etc.

    to play iso of the avatar game all you have to do is press select and a menu will apear ,look for the umd iso driver and change it to sony np9…and it will work….if other games dont work change it back to m33 driver after playing avatar

    do this in the home of the psp where yo can see the settings,game,video snd etc.

    if the menu does not apear….shutdown your psp,then hold the R button and turn on the psp….select configuration,then lok for UMD MODE and change it to sony NP9660…get it?if you still could not play…maybe its your ISO/copy’s problem

    yes u can man . i am gen d3 and every game i have tryed workes 100% i have like close to 40 games on my psp . all work … to check yr version .. ermm like normal . but insted ov 5.00 m33-6 it will say 5.50 gen d3.. if u have 1001 psp(phat) it will say somthing like 5.50 gen full…. this site is everything u need to no….
