Not able to install a Custom Firmware 5.02Gen-A to a PSP With custom firmware already install.
I discovered what was the problem. I was checking through recovery menu and I noticed that the kernal was still set on 1.5.
I didn’t know that the whole time and that I had to change it. So I changed it to 3.xx and I was able to install the 5.02 GEN-A CFW.

you will need to make sure you have a custom firmware already install on your PSP, You should read the instruction. It’s straight forward.

My PSP was Slim-2000 (Black Piano) with Firmware v3.6 (Original), and now I want to upgarde to 4.x or 5.x, for play game in memory-stick, thus could you show me HOWTO upgrade it.

How do you get this to play online, if possible?
to:::Edwards ::: what do you mean, what to play online. If you are talking about custom firmware able to connect to PSN store . I dont think it will work as you need official firmware. But if you are just talking about surfing online. Then you could do it without any problem .
excuse me for not specifying, but what i mean is, whenever i play any iso game, it won’t play online, or even in ad-hoc.. Is that normal? Or am i doing something wrong?
to::edward. I understand you not. But i rarely play any iso or cso game or even online. So i reall y could not tell you if there are supposed to work or not. Only someone who has played it online could say for sure ..
