April 28, 2009   ·   admin  ·   Jump to comments

Here is a few simple way to find out if you have a PSP Custom Firnware install or want to know what PSP Firmware version you have install .

Look for System Settings, and then go to System Information.

This will details three important bits of information about the PSP, the System Software (firmware) the Nickname for the PSP and the MAC Address.

EXAMPLE . Let’s say if you have PSP Firmware version 4.01 but dont know if is a custom firmware.

System Software 4.01 M33 should be displayed if is a PSP Custom FIrmware

System Software 4.01 should be display. Meaning you have a official PSP Firmware .

If you just see 4.01 it didn’t work, but if it says M33 then you are fine.
